I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana and Colorado, and I have been working in the mental health field since 2014. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology from Indiana University and a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. I was born and raised in southern Indiana but spent 7 years in Colorado where I obtained my masters and worked providing therapy for children, teens, families and adults. I returned to Evansville in 2023 to be close to family again.
I have experience working in school-based mental health programs in Indianapolis and Aurora, CO. I also have experience working with families in child protection, families experiencing homelessness, and patients and families in the NICU and older adult hospital unit.
I am certified in TF-CBT, a structured, evidenced-based therapy model for treating trauma symptoms in children and teens. I have training and experience in Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma Systems Therapy.
Each client deserves individualized support, so I do not adhere to a specific modality but always approach therapy with a trauma-informed perspective.
